KATHERINE DOLGY LUDWIG, in co-curatorial collaboration with RON GASKIN, host of the AM/FM show (7-11 Wed mornings CKLN 88.1 FM) and ROUGH IDEA, will grace Toronto Island with a Painting/Performance at the Long Term Tenant Biennial, Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts, near the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse.

The Long Term Artist Work Studios are occupied by a mix of painters, writers, performance artists, ceramists, sculptors, musicians, theatre companies, and a recording studio. This Biennial Arts Event is a way for the Long Term Tenants of Gibraltar Point to celebrate their on-going association with each other and the Island environment that inspires them.

S P L A S H ! will be a highlight of the thirty-three outdoor sculpture exhibits and installation art works that make up ROGUE WAVE. There will be Free Music, Video, Film, Sculpture, Painting, Open Studios, Writing, Sound Arts, Photography, and whatever other creative manifestations the resident artists care to share.

The following Long Term Studio Tenants at Artscape¹s Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts will be joining KATHERINE DOLGY LUDWIG and RON GASKIN/ROUGH IDEA for this biennial event: Ann Barber, Wende Bartley, Manuel Cappell, Alastair Dickson, Talia Erlich, Ken Garnhum, Don Hannah, Brad Harley, Ruth Howard, Leon Kingstone, Dale Morningstar, David Pellettier, Irina Schestakowich, Marsha Stonehouse, and David Tamblyn.

The following mainland musical guests will appear at S P L A S H !

- Jacquey Malcolm and Anne Bourne, both performing original compositions for cellos with Luisa Milan's We Are All Water, a text-inscribed organza and clothesline installation at the SW tip of Algonquin Island (Sunfish Cut) on Sunday September 23 at 3pm.

- Roving Rogue Rave V: Free Jazz Improv by "Culpable Behaviour" featuring Grahame Beakhust, Dwight Chalmers, Jerry Englar & friends spontaneously performing outdoors on weekends.
