Hi, New Big Blue X song, Prepare For War (live recording), download it for free, it you like it forward this email to all your friends. And we have a gig scheduled for August 8th (details below). It took a few weeks to write Prepare For War, it's one of our favorite songs to play, it's got a lot of melody. Initially we had about 3 songs worth of lyrics, Brian tossed most of them out and added some new ideas. As you may know, we've been talking like idiots about recording - it's been a slow climb, the best we could do right now is to release a live recording straight off the mixing board. Prepare For War is from a gig we did in early June in a small pub in Toronto, it's a FREE download so don't be shy. The mix is super rough but for now this should give you a good idea of where we're at - I did some mastering magic to even it out. The goal is to still get some better studio recordings. We've got a gig scheduled for August 8th, Toronto (Dundas & 427) - it's an all ages gig, we go on at 2:30pm. Hello Everyone,

I hope this email finds you smiling, happy, healthy and excited for the summer season just days away, beautiful warm days are a rare commodity in Canada! I wanted to personally invite you to a very important event for me, as you know I have released my CD album "Jenikz" and had a very successful release in Guelph where I am now currently residing; but I missed out on your presence!  Most from Mississauga could not make the trek out which is completely understandable, so I have arranged an encore performance cd release in the root of my home town "On the Cure" in Mississauga!  Some of you have already purchased the CD, a million thank you's for your support and now is the opportunity to see me and my band live!  Also I will be interviewed live on Rogers TV cable 10 Wednesday June 23 promoting the event also :)

Start Time: Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 8:30pm End Time: Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 2:00am Location: The Hardball Street: 8750 Regional Road 25 City/Town: Milton, ON Description Haley is the daughter of our good friend Sherry Champion Stewart. Haley has an in-operable Brain AVM & one of her only hopes is to raise enough money for a trip to the USA to see if doctors at the Mayo Clinic can help save her precious life. An AVM is a tangle of abnormal and poorly formed blood vessels (arteries and veins). They have a higher rate of bleeding than normal vessels. AVMs can occur anywhere in the body. Brain AVMs are of special concern because of the damage they cause when they bleed. They are very rare and occur in less than 1% of the general population. AVMs that occur in the coverings of the brain are called dural avms. Sherry is a single mom without the means or finances to take on such a huge undertaking & we are there for her to help in every way we can !!!  CRUED is doing our Saints of Toronto show  We're going to debut the CRUED documentry on the BIG screen  Alleytatz studios will be there doing INK & peircings. Hi, Big Blue X are playing a live acoustic show in a club near York University on Sat. Oct. 3rd. TORONTO July 19, 2009 - This, September 1, 2009, Wideawake Death Row Entertainment will finally open its vault and launch a Special Collectors Edition of music, video, interview and promotional material entitled The Chronic Re Lit & From The Vault.  WIDEawake Death Row Records is giving the fans – unreleased songs from the  Death Row vault to celebrate the phenomena of West Coast Rap and  honor one of the most influential producers of our time – Dr. Dre.  

Dr. Dre revolutionized West Coast Rap music with the original Death Row crew of artists and producers, creating The Chronic.  This package includes the sixteen original Chronic songs digitally re-mastered, profound liner notes from one of Dr. Dre’s long time colleagues and friends, award winning producer and documentary film maker Quincy Jones III,  plus a second DVD collection entitled From The Vault.   This DVD is packed with Chronic videos, promotional pieces, and a special never before released 30 minute in studio interview with Dr. Dre discussing the future of hip hop.   But that's not all - the From The Vault  DVD includes Seven unreleased and rare release songs from Snoop Doggy Dogg, soulstress Jewell, CPO, and Kurupt.
